Threadless Takes Zombie Shirts to a New Level

We’ve told you before about the fantastic zombie shirts at Threadless. We’re thrilled to tell you that they have now reached a new level of awesome.

In the first volume of their new Comics-On Tees line, four shirts tell the story of a dreamy zombie apocalypse. Each shirt is its own “issue” designed by a different artist. Although there are four issues in the volume, only three of them actually depict zombies — the first one is just really cute.

Threadless released these shirts in conjunction with a new design challenge — submit your own comics-themed shirt designs by August 12. More zombies please!

We stopped by tinaseamonster’s etsy shop today, where they’re selling this narwhals vs. zombies t-shirt. It turns out that Narwhals have some zombie killing game, but we’re still a little worried about the possibility of zombie narwhals. The oceans will never be safe again.

The same folks also have some other great zombie stuff, including this rendition of Barack Obama engaged with a zombie at close range.

Official Plants vs. Zombies t-shirts are out! One regular, one in moustache-mode.

And the most fun zombie shirt ever is now available, but only if you pre-order Resident Evil: Darkside Chronicles at GameStop. Small price to pay for this awesomeness, though:

Any zombie can dance to Michael Jackson’s “Thriller,” right? Some of us non-corpses, though, never quite got through the first three steps without wishing we were dead. But thanks to this fantastic t-shirt, which Threadless reprinted in MJ’s memory, we might just have a chance after all.

Illustrated zombies depict the dance broken down in 12 “frames” in this stylish and user-friendly t-shirt. What more could you want in casual zombie apparel?

Like these Walking Zombie earrings by Obvious Octopus. We like them because they’re delightfully ungory, making them the sort of zombie jewelery you could wear anywhere — dinner with your boyfriend’s parents, a job interview, traffic court…

Necklace
The aptly titled ZombieHead‘s jewelery might be less universally appropriate, but these professionally sculpted pendants will have your friends gurgling with envy. We especially dig the shiny red enamel, giving the zombie heads that “fresh blood” look with none of the messiness.

Zombie t-shirts! We love ‘em. Here’s a roundup of some favorites.

Franklin and the Dead Presidents. Must-have t-shirt for President’s Day. Or any of the other 364 days of the year.

The Food Chain. Zombie Slash writer sheribomb is the proud wearer of one of these.

Zombie Crossing. Love the pseudo post-apocalyptic look of this one. Also a callback to pre-apocalyptic warnings.

The Zombie of Oz. I think the story would have worked with zombies. Then Dorothy would have had some real movitation for going home to Kansas.

Romero’s Diner. A bit subtle? Love the retro design and garnished brain.

Sexy Zombie Fashion Show

Besides Zombie Horse, here’s another reason why Denver is a hotspot for the living dead: next weekend’s Sexy Zombie Fashion Show.

Models will walk the runway in torn, blood-splattered apparel, zombie art will be displayed and created, and live bands will rock your brains out. Sounds like a blast!
